FALL PROTECTION PROCEDURES AT BOVIS LEND LEASE  JOBSITES
FEATURING SAFE-T-STRAP™ SYSTEMS

During the week of June 4 - June 8, 2001 I had the opportunity to visit several of our jobsites throughout North and South Carolina with representatives from SAFE-T-STRAP™ Inc.    SAFE-T-STRAP™ offers a fall protection system that is easy to use, cost effective and reliable.  Bovis Lend Lease is currently using these products on several of our jobsites (most notably; Mission St. Joseph's Hospital in Ashville, NC and Renaissance Project in Charleston, SC).   The response given to this product by Bovis Lend Lease and subcontractor personnel, at these sites as well as at sites being introduced to the system was overwhelmingly positive.    In addition to their standard line of products,  Rob Conners of  SAFE-T-STRAP™ has stated they have the ability to customize lengths for static lines and travel restraints.  Rob also stated that as a preferred client Bovis Lend Lease as well as subcontractors on our sites will be offered additional cost savings incentives.

SAFE-T-STRAP™ static line system used in conjunction with industrial straps which wrap around columns.  Industrial straps have a sleeve which protect the strap from wear against columns.  This system is very simple to set up and can be reused or moved with minimal training and effort.
