One item that SAFE-T-STRAP™ offers that particularly impressed me is the "Travel Restraint".  This device functions similarly to a lanyard but allows the worker to adjust the length to prevent their being placed into a fall position.   When used properly with the static line and in a restraint position, two men can work from the same system.

The Travel Restraint demonstrated above rides smoothly along the static line via the use of an oversized ring.  SAFE-T-STRAP™ test results indicated that in a fall position this restraint exerts less force on the body than a standard shock absorbing lanyard.
